WING NUT

A wingnut, wing nut or butterfly nut is a type of nut with two large metal "wings", one on each side, so it can be easily tightened and loosened by hand without tools.Wing nuts work like most other nuts: They are designed to hold two or more objects together when used in conjunction with a bolt. You can twist a wing nut onto the end of a bolt to prevent the connected objects from pulling away.
